Usually, storage furniture is designed around a box, but this design was inspired by the way chairs are designed with legs and frames, so that the storage furniture is not flat but three-dimensional and formative.

In order to match the grain of the flat front doors and drawers, we first made a single piece of solid wood and then cut out the parts. Then, the wood was cut so that the grain of the board would be just at the division between the left and right doors, emphasizing the fact that it was a single piece of wood.
The top panel is shaped with a plane to express softness and sharpness at the same time, and the joint with the legs is cut with a knife to give a sense of unity, just like the finish of the legs and the shade tree of the chair.
The doors, which are made of solid wood joined at an angle to form a rounded shape, are finished not with the smooth circles of molded plywood, but with corners that are unique to solid wood, creating a three-dimensional shadow that accents the entire piece of furniture. The handles are then embedded.

As a result, the shape is full of complicated angles and curves, which is rare for storage furniture.

The height of the top panel is 950 mm so that it can be used as a counter. The left and right storage sections are sized to fit A4 size both top and bottom when the shelves are installed in the center, and the maximum height is 640 mm by moving the movable shelves up and down or removing them.
The height under the legs is designed to allow a cleaning robot to pass through for easy cleaning.
