Creating a decorative set of bookends, we sought to capitalize on the rebounding market of book ownership to showcase and display books in the home or office. Utilizing the spines of the books themselves and their various sizes and shapes, we leveraged the abstract representation of buildings to invoke a dynamic cityscape on a bookshelf. When turned either direction the bookends themselves define a multiplanar visualization of a typical New York block.
