There are countless stands, valets, and displays designed for our everyday carry items—phones, watches, pens—each elegantly cradled in dedicated holders on our desks. Yet, one of our most fragile and essential possessions—our eyewear—is often neglected. Despite their delicacy, glasses are frequently tossed haphazardly onto nightstands or counters, rather than placed in their cases. As bespoke and limited-edition frames grow in popularity, the need for a dedicated, effortless, and protective solution becomes increasingly clear.
The Italico Eyewear Valet was born out of this need. While its form appears deceptively simple, the design process was anything but. After countless prototypes and refinements, we’ve crafted a user experience that accommodates a vast range of frame shapes and sizes with ease. Placing your glasses in the valet is as satisfying as sliding a vinyl record into its sleeve. The patent-pending design gently guides and centers the eyewear, allowing frames to be placed with lenses facing either up or down.
Each valet is meticulously milled from a single block of walnut, chosen for its natural beauty and durability. The interior is lined with soft microfiber to protect the lenses, while the weighted base ensures stability, blending functionality with aesthetics.
