Straying cats in the city usually need to deal with problems of survival: from the absence of a secure habitat, to the lack of water and insufficient protection at nighttime. For the problem, a project of sustainable symbiosis is built and developed. It was born a green stray cat shelter, featuring a three-fold self-sufficientity in habitat, energy and ecological circle. It is furnished with a dedicated APP in order to create a caregiver system that supports the care of stray cats in various ways and reduces the threshold of urban pedestrians to engage in rescue activities. The main part of the shelter is made of environmental friendly composite construction materials. The modular structure with a variety of organic curves not only conforms to the behavior of stray cats in an environment where they love to crawl, curl up and lay down, but also gains good ventilation and shading through the hollowed out and curved design. The energy device is powered by the metal ring-shaped wind energy component above, using wind power as a source and providing electricity to the light strips that can use flexible placement on the inner side of the shelter. rainwater is pumped into the top of the water storage area. The rainwater is first filtered to clear the polluted water and then flows down the roof of the shelter through the low-level outlet where stray cats go to take a drink, realizing the recycling of rainwater resources. The device is high above with local green flowers such as moss and ferns, which not only enhances the microclimate, but also filters impurities. The dedicated APP can link people and machine interaction and care: people can use the APP to seek out nearby shelters and remotely turn the status of the device on and off. At the same time, the APP is also equipped with an internal science popularization section for feeding and caring for stray cat health. It minimizes interactive errors. An adoption information board has been set up to make the shelter go from a barebones survival to a comprehensive care vehicle with a combination of rescue, science/popularization and adoption. This project is not least an ecological embodiment of the threefold self-sufficiency of hardware and the digital linkage of software, which are not only used to create a sturdy environment for stray cats but also to open the door to the activity of urban pedestrians in care activities with low thresholds, realizing the soft coexistence of humans, animals and the urban environment.
