To satisfy roller skaters’ needs of bearing storage and aesthetics of life, this bearing storage case is innovatively developed centered on the characteristics of roller skating, aesthetics of machinery, safety, etc., which boasts superiority in appearance, humanization, convenience and efficiency.
The storage case is composed of two storage cavities (each is two cylinders combined), a tool for removing bearings, and a silicone band. The side connection subtly creates a visual focus to balance the plastic product and metal loads, leading to a round, aesthetically pleasing appearance. Such a design also makes possible a more reliable, stable hidden hinge. The restraint structure inside the storage cavities avoids abrasion, impact and noise caused by shakes during a carrying process. The tool for removing bearings can be placed in the hollow part of the product and connected with a silicone band via hooks to fasten the case, so as to make the product more convenient to carry.
The two storage cavities are connected by a hinge, which enables the product to be unfolded or folded. The open and unfolded case looks like a rushing skating racer who are spreading the wings. When closed and folded, the storage case, like a lump of jade, is comfortable to grip, with the compact body contributing to high portability. The lid with the frosted sides and the transparent middle not only enhances aesthetic attraction of the product, but also conveys most visual information. The bottom is designed with a mechanical style for senses of power and speed, suggesting that the ceramic ball bearings in this case will provide the best skating experience for users.
To facilitate the process of opening the lid, the design team has designed the semi-circle protuberance as the force point on the base. Such a design ensures users will not open the lid by mistake to cause slipping of the bearings when unfolding the product. The convex lines of the lid helps to increase friction so that users can easily open it.
