Beautiful Creatures tumblers

The tumbler series Beautiful Creatures from SIEGER by FÜRSTENBERG pays tribute to the beauty and variety of animal species. The wafer-thin porcelain tumblers with gold-plated interiors are colourfully decorated with elephants, tigers, polar bears, blue whales and octopuses. They also send an important message: wild animals living in their natural habitats are endangered and need our protection. That’s why part of the proceeds will be donated to the wildlife rescue organisation National Park Rescue.

The Beautiful Creatures tumblers have been designed with loving attention to detail. Against the patterned backgrounds, the animals stand out with their own distinctive character. The animal species come from different parts of the world and represent both the beauty and the vulnerability of nature. They are endangered by poaching, dwindling habitats and ocean pollution. Polar bears are also emblematic of the dangers of climate change, as rising air and water temperatures pose an extreme threat to their survival.

The wafer-thin tumblers are meticulously handcrafted and plated with 24-carat gold on the inside, applied with exquisite delicacy of touch. The animal-themed tumbler series Beautiful Creatures adds to the Sip of Gold champagne tumbler collection. Especially when the tumblers are filled with a drink, hundreds of reflections create the impression of liquid gold that gives the collection its name. Lovingly handmade in Germany, each tumbler is unique – with a wall thickness of only around two millimetres.

The Beautiful Creatures series was inspired by the Precious Companions tumbler created in partnership with Dr. Barbara Sturm in 2021. Each unique, handcrafted tumbler is adorned with elephants, bees, turtles, and rabbits, elegantly illustrating the beauty and diversity of animal species. A portion of proceeds from sales of the Precious Companions collection likewise goes to National Park Rescue.

Every single cup, plate, and accessory is one of a kind. Individually crafting these unique objects involves many different stages – requiring up to 100 hands and six weeks of work.
