Volcano Series

VOLCANO SERIES is inspired from the revelation that vortexes are fused with lava to reach ecological balance, and ingeniously make this a part of the mechanical timer and volcanic eruptions to imply the elapse of time. The tailor-made time reading system is fabricated by 3D printing with the eruption of a volcanic vent shown on the 12-hour spherical hand. The orange lines on the dial are drawn by large open fire enamel process to simulate lava flows after a volcanic eruption. The dial features Super Luminova luminous numerals, the orange three-way curved flowing minute hand vividly illustrates, and the immense power hidden in the wrist seems to burst out. The rapid movement of the independent second dial shows the dynamic fusion of larva in vortex for ecological balance in nature. On the wearer's wrist, a miniaturized mechanical volcano erupts, flows and solidifies, an ingenious way of recording the elapse of time. VOLCANO SERIES is powered by an automatic mechanical movement developed in-house by AGELOCER. Aside from separate hour, minute and second hands, it offers an extra complex jumping hour function. The jumping hour function is designed with a spring hook that causes the 12-hour gear to instantly jump one division when the spring force reaches the critical point of toggle, which can avoid misreading due to tiny size of the hour hand dial in a watch with three-hand separation design.
