CAKES COMMITMENT TO THE ANTI POACHING ACT
Areas with widespread poaching are often large, remote, and lacking roads, making patrolling by car virtually impossible. Recently, anti-poaching teams have started using dirt bikes for patrolling; and it has proven to be highly successful. Using motorbikes is an essential part of anti-poaching in Africa. Today these bikes run on petrol and their noise warns poachers miles away. These bush bikes, however, run on gasoline. And, depending on the location, this fuel is brought in by truck or by air. Although the motorcycle approach has proven highly successful, the roaring motorcycles unfortunately alert poachers miles away, decreasing the chances of catching them. Therefore CAKE's Electric silent motorbikes hopefully can revolutionize the daily work for the anti-poachers.

CAKE serves a combo, the combo meaning that each purchase is a price-reduced bundle of two CAKE Kalk APs and a solar power station along with solar panels from Goal Zero. The buyer gets one bike, the other twin bike, together with the solar power station and solar panels is handed over to the Southern African Wildlife College. Kalk AP (Anti-Poaching) is based on the original Kalk platform, developed and modified between rangers and the CAKE product team, for anti-poaching purposes.
