The FX Deluxe Wall-mounted Indoor Unit is Mitsubishi Electric’s most feature-rich indoor unit, providing precision comfort and exceptional energy efficiency. With expanded 24,000 BTU/h capacity, it suits both large and small spaces. The indoor unit pairs with compatible, space-saving outdoor units for single or multi-zone applications. Paired with the H2i sumo outdoor units, the FX allows for 100% heating capacity at an outdoor temperature of -10 degrees Fahrenheit with guaranteed operation down to -22 degrees Fahrenheit.

Each Wi-Fi-enabled unit comes equipped with premium features like the 3D i-see Sensor. The sensor scans the room to produce a complete thermal profile based on size, temperature, and movement, then adjusts temperature and airflow based on user preference, and saves energy according to room occupancy.

The FX also combines patented Dual Barrier coating and Dual Barrier Fusion technologies to maintain efficiency and make maintenance easier than ever. The Dual Barrier Coating reduces the collection of contaminants like dust, fibers, smoke, and oil on inner surfaces, such as the air pathway, heat exchanger, and fan wheel of the indoor unit, resulting in optimal airflow and easier maintenance. Similarly, the Dual Barrier Fusion reduces those contaminants on the vanes of the indoor unit with shielding power fused directly into the material of the horizontal and vertical vanes during manufacturing to maintain the effectiveness and longevity of components and promote vane cleanliness.

Additional features of the unit include a Smart Dry+ mode, Aux Heating+, Advanced Frost Detection, Econo Cool, built-in Wi-Fi, and an ENERGY STAR ESCC certification – with SEER2 certified up to 35 and HSPF2 certified up to 13.3. The unit’s sleek matte finish also resists scratches and fingerprints, complementing any home’s aesthetic.
