At the core of the system are two motorized Twin XL bases paired with a concealed, patent-pending center platform anchored beneath the frame. When closed, the bed presents as a cohesive king. When opened, the bases separate to reveal defined individual spaces—offering true physical separation within the same footprint.

The center platform remains grounded at all times, ensuring structural stability while simplifying the mechanism. Beyond separation, the expanded configuration can also create additional usable space for co-sleeping, offering flexibility that standard king dimensions cannot provide.
