This project reimagines the Apple CarPlay experience through a modular in-vehicle interface system designed to improve clarity, personalization, and focus while driving. The redesign introduces flexible dashboard layouts that allow drivers to prioritize navigation, media, and other key information through adjustable widgets. Users can resize elements, add up to three widgets at a time, and rearrange or remove them through familiar interactions inspired by iOS. A companion mobile app allows users to build and save layout presets in advance, so their preferred setup is ready as soon as they enter the vehicle. The interface also incorporates a more immersive 3D navigation view to enhance spatial awareness while maintaining a clean and glanceable hierarchy. Together, these elements create a more adaptable and efficient in-vehicle experience while staying aligned with the simplicity of the existing CarPlay ecosystem.
