Geely Galaxy Starshine 7 is an all-new plug-in hybrid sedan with a 4WD powertrain. It tackles a defining challenge of modern automotive engineering: how to strike a systemic balance between low energy consumption, high performance, generous space, and comfort. By blending Eastern elegance with cutting-edge technology, the Starshine 7 transcends the typical trade-offs in its segment for a truly uncompromised user experience.
The exterior design harmonizes aesthetics and performance. The Starshine 7 embodies the stance of a crouching tiger, ready to pounce. Its low-slung profile and rear-biased weight distribution create a sense of dynamic tension usually found in premium vehicles while improving aerodynamic efficiency. The “Galaxy Starfall” grille uses 29 vertical elements to evoke the rush of a cascading waterfall and enhance airflow. The grille works with an active grille shutter system for effective heat dissipation. The light strip spans 2,471 mm with a brightness of 2,600 nits, integrating cultural symbolism and functional excellence into a cohesive visual signature. Furthermore, the headlights feature a dual-module optical structure and thick-walled light guides, achieving a reach of 176 meters and a width of 15.7 meters for both nighttime driving safety and a compelling presence on the road.
Inside, the cabin delivers a spacious and comfortable experience. With dimensions of 4,958 × 1,915 × 1,505 mm, the Starshine 7 offers a class-leading spacious layout. The 0.87 m² panoramic sunroof and 0.61 m² transparent window area significantly enhance natural lighting and visual transparency. Inspired by traditional Chinese armchairs, the seats are ergonomically designed with a unique three-layer structure that balances softness, resilience, and support. Combined with a 28-point massage system, the seats provide dynamic support during driving and ensure comfort during long-distance travel.
Its car paint translates Eastern elegance and traditional craftsmanship into modern industrial expression based on Geely’s in-house color system. Taking the “Glazed Blue” paint for example, it blends Lapis Lazuli mineral pigments with mica crystalline structures. Sprayed by 18 robotic arms in five layers and finished with a clear coat approximately 55 μm thick, the paint strikes a perfect balance of color saturation, translucency, durability, and jade-like refinement.
