Fellou's next-generation browser is a ground-up rethink of what a browser interface should look like when AI moves from answering questions to completing tasks. The current Fellou product is a browser with an AI assistant. The next-generation product is a browser where the AI is the primary actor: it browses autonomously, makes decisions, and executes multi-step tasks across the open web from a single natural language instruction.

The central design problem was trust. Handing real work to an AI requires believing it understood the request, that it is doing the right things, and that the user can intervene if something goes wrong. The design had to make the AI's process visible at every stage without turning the interface into a wall of technical output.

When a user submits a task, the AI does not start immediately. It generates a structured clarification form composed dynamically for the specific task, with checkboxes, radio buttons, and a freetext field that surface ambiguities before acting on them. After confirmation, the AI synthesizes the user's intent in plain language, exposes its reasoning in an expandable timeline block, and produces an editable step-by-step plan. By the time execution begins, the user has already seen what the AI understood, how it thought about it, and what it plans to do.

The layout itself signals state. While planning, the interface is a conversation. The moment execution begins, the chat collapses to a sidebar and a split panel opens on the right, showing six tiled browser windows with the agent working across X, Google, LinkedIn, Reddit, and GitHub in parallel. Results populate row by row into a structured data table. Follow-up prompts in the sidebar trigger new agent runs that extend the existing output rather than replacing it.

The visual language is deliberately quiet: a near-white surface palette, Geist typeface, subtle 10% black borders, and shimmering gradient text in place of spinners. The interface does not try to look futuristic. It tries to look like something you could trust with actual work.
