Why we love wood – and you should too “COMMOD HolzHerz”



The COMMOD timber pavilion “HolzHerz” is an abstracted 3D heart that gives wood the stage it earns. The inside builds a pulsating room, enlighted with green colour of nature which leads our guests as a room divider into our office. Canopy of wooden flowers hovering above the heads of its visitors, giving them the feeling of standing outside in the woods. The fresh smell of the wooden construction is accompanied by a twitter of birds as soon as someone approaches the interior. Feeling the soft touch of wooden pellets beyond their feet all guests are floating through a wave of timber-heaven. By showing different types of wood – natural, coated, oiled etc. one gets to know the variety of woods and their areas of application. The pavilion is made of regional construction spruce and shows a different face from every step of the 360-degree accessibility and can be build up by 3 persons and easily transported. With this room divider we show all our visitors why we love wood and let them touch, feel, breath and smell besides seeing the ecological materials.
