The Suber design collection is a line of 100% Made in Italy interior design products created using CORE: a new composite material that is obtained by combining recycled cork granules with natural resins. A project of aesthetic experimentation that stems from two awarenesses: that human wellbeing cannot be separated from that of the planet, and that raw materials are becoming increasingly precious. Amorim Cork Italia, a leader in the field of natural cork stoppers, recuperates corks through its ETICO project. Suber Cork Second Life is a sustainable design project that has given rise to new and uniquely charming products, whose formal beauty is intrinsically linked to the beauty of the philosophy from which they are born. Produced 100% in Italy using systems geared to optimize energy, and finished one by one by skilled craftsmen. When touched, the surface of each Suber product provides a surprisingly velvety sensory emotion.
Recycling begins to become a necessity to cope with a planetary environmental emergency and highlights the central role played by the search for new innovative technologies and the ability to process new materials.
