YABÁ Cachaça is a Brazilian spirit made with a focus on premium products export. The main concept is to use the design process to create meaningful innovation in logistics; where gaining the maximum space on container volume is the basic goal. In that way, the triangular neckless shape saves 42% on the container’s volumetric space, which amplifies the efficiency during the logistics stage through the clever use of the space, stacking the container’s organization, and decreasing the empty spaces on master boxes. This process demonstrates the design power in benefits of the business strategy, adding value to the product and helping to increase the product profitability.
Cachaça, a sugar cane distilled spirit, is the first industrial product in colonial Brazil and until today, considered the most Brazilian of all products. Between generations, the memory of Brazilian immigrants and recounts the Brazilian economic cycle since the 16th century and brings the historic product heritage to the present day. This historic weight is recreated through shape, graphics, and materials, bringing those concepts to the contemporary world, in all senses, presenting an extra premium product with a presentation, quality perception, processes, and logistics, in a mix of traditionalism and innovation.
