ANOTY THE AIR is a 52-inch ceiling fan shaped by a single principle: subtraction. For ANOTY, good design is not about adding more, but about removing what is unnecessary until only the essential remains.
A ceiling fan circulates air, yet it also sits at the visual center of a room. So we questioned every element of the conventional ceiling fan. Does it serve airflow? And if it must exist, does it need to be seen?
The light module, which plays no role in air circulation, was removed. The motor housing keeps only the volume needed to enclose the motor and narrows toward the bottom, easing the visual weight at the center. The blades are fixed from above, so no screws or joints are visible from below, and body and blades read as one continuous form. A micro-textured surface with a special matte coating reduces glare.
What remains was refined with care. The AeroCurve blade thins gradually from root to tip, joining an asymmetric silhouette, sectional twist and a rising tip in one continuous surface, every curve shaped for quiet, efficient airflow.
Fewer elements, each with a clear role. That is the value of ANOTY THE AIR.
