CubiFab C1 is a desktop CNC workstation for individual creators, engineers, and education, integrating design, machining planning, physical fabrication, and monitoring into a unified platform. The integrated x86 computing platform combines CAM computation, motion control, and AI-assisted functions, reducing reliance on external computers and multiple software packages, and supports algorithm optimization and feature upgrades by the mature software ecosystem. From text or image concept to model generation and physical fabrication, the C1 provides a coherent workflow under step-by-step guidance and pro data tuning, balancing beginner onboarding and advanced machining needs.
CubiFab C1 features a one-piece cast frame and ball screws, dual linear guides, and a closed-loop motion control system, achieving machining accuracy of up to ±0.01 mm and providing a stable foundation for fine machining of materials such as titanium alloys, stone, wood, and acrylic. The 14-tool automatic tool changer (ATC) supports continuous multi-step machining such as rough machining, finish machining, drilling, engraving, and chamfering, reducing the need for manual tool changes and repetitive clamping.
CubiFab C1 features a compact, fully enclosed body that suppresses noise transmission to suit home and personal workspaces. The side-opening door spares top lid clearance for easy placement under cabinets or shelves. The high-transparency glass on the front and sides provides multi-angle views of the machining process, balancing equipment protection and process visibility.
The integrated 10-inch touchscreen consolidates equipment control, task management, and parameter controls into a single zone, lowering the operational barrier through intuitive guidance. The vision-based monitoring and multi-dimensional sensor system actively tracks equipment operating status through anomaly identification, alerts, and machine stop protection when necessary for safer machining, and supports remote monitoring and machining task control via mobile devices.
The modular architecture supports spindle upgrades and fourth- and fifth-axis expansion, allowing the machine to evolve through ongoing upgrades in response to changing machining needs. The AeroTherm™ dual-zone air-cooling system uses separate airflow paths to manage heat from the spindle and electronics compartment, eliminating the need for liquid-cooling circuits and reducing coolant management and associated maintenance.
