Moonu: A Gentle Companion for Better Bedtime Routines
Over 80% of adults with ADHD report difficulty establishing and maintaining consistent bedtime routines, often leading to chronic sleep issues, heightened stress, and decreased productivity. Traditional productivity apps, with their rigid task lists and strict reminders, can unintentionally amplify these challenges. Moonu offers a refreshing, user-centered alternative — a calming, interactive app designed to support users in building sustainable nighttime habits with empathy and encouragement.
Currently in development and testing with real users, Moonu features a friendly cartoon moon character that guides users through personalized bedtime routines. The app combines soothing visuals, adaptive task management, and a fun, rewarding system that transforms routines into approachable, stress-free self-care. Gentle reminders and ADHD-friendly design principles ensure users feel supported rather than judged as they build their habits one step at a time.
Beyond helping individuals, Moonu is also working to create a positive impact on the community. We plan to collaborate with NGOs to build a meaningful reward system — for instance, when users maintain a 100-day streak, Moonu will donate to a charity on their behalf. This unique initiative reflects our belief that small, consistent actions not only improve personal well-being but can also contribute to a larger good.
Rooted in behavioral psychology and inspired by a mission to empower, Moonu is more than an app — it’s a gentle companion helping users turn bedtime routines into a healthier, happier way of life.
