In response to the contemporary shift toward “decentralized living rooms” in interior design, this coffee table moves away from traditional center-focused layouts. Its flexible design enables users to arrange space freely to suit their diverse layout preferences, balancing practicality with aesthetic appeal.
To further enhance this flexibility, the table features a modular design, consisting of two units of different sizes and heights that can be easily rearranged—combined into a single piece or placed separately—depending on user needs. It adapts to various usage scenarios, from social gatherings to alone time and is suitable for a wide range of house types. This adaptability enables users to define and arrange their environment freely.
Beyond its flexible configuration, the table also delivers a distinctive aesthetic language. Breaking free from conventional circular or rectangular shapes, the tabletop adopts an asymmetric, droplet-like form that adds playfulness and artistic appeal to the home environment. The lower storage layer takes the shape of stars radiating outward to create a sense of dynamism while visually softening the table’s edges. A highly transparent glass top is paired with a brushed stainless steel storage layer to lighten the visual weight and achieve a harmonious balance between lightness and stability. The dual-layer structure prioritizes both aesthetic form and function, providing ample space to store or display magazines, teaware, and other daily items—maximizing spatial efficiency while contributing to a clean, organized atmosphere.
