Addressing the challenges of increased rolling resistance, reduced maneuverability, and limited mobility on uneven surfaces when large suitcases are fully loaded, the HANKE BLACK LABEL flagship suitcase features patented wheel technology integrating multi-stage hydraulic damping, dual-bearing support, and internal rubber noise-dampening elements. Its 60 mm-diameter wheels are designed to improve the ability to roll over floor joints, low steps, and minor obstacles, while enhancing adaptability to uneven surfaces such as brick joints and stone paving.

Inspired by automotive suspension systems, the hydraulic mechanism and trapezoidal springs work together to absorb road impacts and reduce body vibration. Bearings support both forward rolling and turning, helping reduce maneuvering resistance for smoother, easier handling under heavy loads. Internal rubber dampeners help suppress rolling noise and cavity resonance.

This integrated wheel innovation delivers a more stable, agile, and quieter travel experience across a variety of surfaces, even when carrying heavy loads.

The suitcase shell features a three-layer co-extrusion structure that integrates a recycled PC base layer, a colored core layer, and a transparent protective outer layer. This layered construction combines material reuse, color expression, and surface protection.

Like an invisible shield, the clear outer layer helps reduce everyday surface wear, preserving the shell’s refined appearance over time.

The black metallic logo is finished using vacuum metallization, achieving a deep, sophisticated sheen with enhanced finish durability. By combining material engineering with precision finishing, the design balances visual refinement, lasting performance, and more responsible material use.
